Team Building

This enjoyable exercise is perfect for use as a team building activity held at the start of your academic year or as a reward activity.  The intensive, yet enjoyable, nature of the activity allows the true character of participants to emerge and barriers between social groups and individuals are eliminated.   

The Supply Chain Game is a fast moving and fun exercise which requires little background knowledge from the participants.   It allows full participation from all participants and is designed to include all students to the fullest possible extent regardless of their ability.  Enthusiastic participation by teachers will also often help in the development of strong bonds which extend to great effect in the classroom environment.

The natural competitive instincts of the participants are key to the success of the activity and are positively encouraged.  An element of competition can be introduced between established groups (i.e. different classes or house groups) and can be further enhanced in larger groups by establishing two identical companies which operate in direct competition to each other.
